Beth Reynolds, instructor
With over 25 years of photography and 15 years of guiding students through photography, Beth leads most of the photography classes at base camp photo. She teaches basic photo 1 & 2, natural light portraits, seeing light, composition, classes on lenses and her loves: visual storytelling, documentary photography and long form projects.
Michael Merritt, instructor
Over the past 10 years, Michael has been teaching both new and experienced photographers the ins and outs of working digitally. Michael specializes in digital imaging workflow and retouching techniques. His passion is perfecting images. An Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop and a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals, he is always excited to put into practice the latest tools Adobe has to offer photographers.
Michael Zide, instructor
Over the past 30 years, he has created a body of work that has been featured both internationally and in galleries from New York City to Los Angeles. His photography has also been used to advertise Schneider large format lenses, Sinar Bron large format view cameras, Mitsubishi photographic printing papers, Polaroid Corporation instant imaging, Millers Imaging, and MPix digital printing services.
His landscape photographs from Martha’s Vineyard Island, Western Massachusetts and the Southwest are in private, corporate, and museum collections.
Selected as a Master of Moab fine art imaging, Michael’s work is printed on Moab fine art printing papers and exhibited at industry shows and galleries here and abroad.
